Kulesh Bhandari
Kulesh Bhandari is a biodiversity researcher and field ecologist from Jharkhand, India, whose work spans wildlife behaviour, forest ecology, traditional knowledge systems and community-led conservation in the tribal uplands of eastern India. His research integrates long-term field observation, ecological documentation, indigenous food–forest systems, and the socio-economic realities of forest-dependent communities.
He works across multiple themes including species interactions, landscape ecology, human–wildlife interfaces, climate-linked livelihood vulnerability, and the biocultural knowledge that sustains local ecosystems. His writing and field research have been published across open-access scientific platforms and have been presented at national and international conferences.
