Arunita Banerjee is a research scholar at IISER Kolkata and a freelance science communicator. She is also the co-founder and the current chief editor of Cogito137 - an IISER-K scicomm initiative. Alongside, she dabbles in outreach activities, lm-making, hiking, art and advocacy. She is a borderline activist for human rights and takes keen interest in socio-political issues. She aspires to build a career in science journalism, with emphasis on the science and society paradigm, and scientic inuence on national and international policies.
