Ashwini Kumar Shukla

Ashwini Kumar Shukla is an independent journalist and a fellow with the People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI), where he reports on rural Jharkhand, covering climate change, agriculture, tribal rights, gender, and livelihoods. He was also a fellow at the Environmental Data Journalism Academy (Thibi/Internews EJN), where he specialised in data-driven storytelling, to craft narratives rooted in grassroots reporting. Previously, Ashwini worked with The Quint and holds a degree in journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC).
