Manish Chandra Mishra is an Assistant Editor at Mongabay-India and an environmental journalist with over a decade of experience in print, digital, and multimedia journalism. He reports on climate change, biodiversity, conservation, agriculture, energy transition, and development from India and beyond. He has worked with Dainik Bhaskar, DB Post, Dainik Jagran Inext, and Haribhoomi, and has contributed to platforms including 101Reporters, Firstpost, IndiaSpend, Down To Earth, and Newslaundry. At Mongabay, he works across reporting, editing, multimedia storytelling, and mentoring. In 2025, he reported from COP30 in Belém, Brazil, covering climate finance, equity, adaptation, and Global South perspectives.
