Dr A. Suresh (born in 1976) is Principal Scientist of Agricultural Economics at Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT), Kochi, Kerala, a research organisation under the ambit of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). He has a broad ranging experience on issues of crop, livestock and fisheries sectors. Before joining CIFT he served as a faculty in the Division of Agricultural Economics, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi; National Institute for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NCAP), New Delhi and Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, Rajasthan. He has taught natural resource management and environmental economics, green economics and economic development courses at IARI. His area of specialisation is Agricultural Development and Natural Resource Economics.
